Fall Field Herping Outing-Central Wisconsin 2014

Fall Field Herping Outing-Central Wisconsin 2014
Location: Central WI
Date: Saturday, September 26th 2014
On Saturday, September 26th, MAHS travelled back up to the central Wisconsin region to find and photograph the area’s many unique amphibians and reptiles! The outing was a success, with species such as four toed salamanders, spotted and blue spotted salamanders, spring peepers, fox snakes, northern water snakes, northern prairie skinks, hatchling snapping turtles, and other species of frogs and toads all being found! The outing was also a historic day in that the MAHS president and founder, Ryan McVeigh finally saw not one, but two smooth green snakes! The event was a blast and we look forward to future outings next year!
