MAHS and some of our reptiles were on hand on Monday, November 30th for Madison Children’s Museum families and visitors who wanted to know the difference between a reptile and an amphibian, what the different groups are, or just wanted to learn more about something cool! Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Badgerland Activate!
Date: Sunday, December 6th 2015.
Location: Monona Terrace, Madison WI.
“I used to hate snakes, but now I think they’re cool” was one of the highlights of the second annual Activate! event organized by the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Badgerland Council for girl scout troops aged 8-14 and their families at the Monona Terrace! MAHS was there, and we were perhaps one of the most popular exhibits at the event as we highlighted how the troops could become active and involved in a herpetological society, as well as raising knowledge and education about these misunderstood animals. Thanks, Girl Scouts of Wisconsin – Badgerland Council for inviting us back out, and we look forward to future events!
