Midwest Environmental Education Conference
Exhibitor Dates: Wednesday and Thursday, October 21-22 2015.
Location: Monona Terrace, Madison WI.
The Midwest Environmental Education Conference (MWEEC) is an event held at the Monona Terrace every two years designed to bring environmental and science educators together, and is hosted by the Wisconsin Association of Environmental Education. This event contains many great speakers, seminars, field trips, and other educational opportunities. MAHS attended this event, where we spread the word about herp education to schools, nature centers, and other organizations from around the state and midwest! We also provided a courtesy presentation highlighting the mission and roles MAHS, as well as reptiles and amphibians play in the community and the environment. Many thanks goes out to Karla Lockman (event organizer) for working with us to participate in this event, as well as all MAHS and other volunteers who were able to come help make this event possible!
