Snake Awareness Day 2012

Snake Awareness Day is an outreach brought on by the recent attacks on exotic animal keepers.  It was started as a way for reptile and snake enthusiast to go out and educate the public.  We were lucky enough to have had Animart allow us to have a table there to help get the word out.  Tara Thomas, Luke Madecky, and Eric Roscoe were able to be at the table most of the day to educate people about proper care of snakes and what amazing pets they make.  Tara and Luke’s newborn son Ivaan was even on hand to show his support.  Overall they reached a ton of people, and did a great job and great service for our goals and our community.
