2023 Spring Field Herping Outing
Date: Saturday, June 3^rd, 2023; June 10^th in the event of rain or inclement weather.

June 3rd 2023 will be our spring field herping outing!!! Rain date will be June, 10th, 2022, or as otherwise determined in the event of inclement weather. Lunch will be provided by MAHS!!!

Last year, we had to put many of our events and activities on hold, as a result of COVID, but in past years, these events have been was a great success for finding a number of herp species, and hopefully this year we will be able to get back at it! Plan to meet at the Stoughton/Dutch Mill Park and Ride in Madison and be prepared to head north at 8:30-9:00 am sharp. Please be sure to bring sturdy and comfortable hiking footwear, water, and anything else you may need and be prepared for hiking up some steep and difficult terrain at some of our stops. This will be a paid, member’s only outing. Any attendees must be in good membership standing by May 20th (or two weeks before the outing). 

* Below is a tentative schedule, subject to change. We may go to additional areas nearby if time permits. Hope to see everyone bright and early!
*ETA: About 1 hour.

~8:30-9:00AM: Arrive at Stoughton Park and Ride

~9:30 AM: Leave Stoughton Park and Ride.

~10:30AM: Arrive at Location. Herping.

~12:00PM-1:00PM Break/Lunch.

~1:00PM-5:00PM Continue Herping

~5:30PM Prepare to Leave/Head back to Madison.
